Dollhouse On-Line Auction is Live

TCAPP is auctioning a beautiful dollhouse that was built by Charles Knuse from Walpole, MA in the 1980’s. The home was discovered on Craigslist at a Providence RI location and was purchased, restored and furnished specifically to raise money to help children living in pain.  You can bid on this item by clicking on this link: http://www.biddingforgood.com/tcapp.  Please share this information with others!

With much energy, care and thought, 80 year old Carole Stepanek of Norton, MA brought this home back to its present state, filled with new life and hope for the family inside. Her story of its inhabitants transpires throughout the process. She would like you to meet Charlotte Dean. Charlotte moved into this house in the 1950’s with her husband, who has since passed. Billy, her grandson, is in town on school vacation and he has come to have lunch with his grandmother. Her Scottie Dog, Tobey, is her always faithful, loving and caring companion. Carole knows the new owner of this remodeled home can enjoy it all the more knowing it is surrounded by the love and kindness of so many people who care to make a difference for those afflicted with Pediatric Pain.

We need your help. We will be doing the on-line auction via Bidding for Good starting in November. Please think of anything that can be easily mailed such as tickets, jewelry, light items, etc. or if you know of a corporation, have some connections, etc. that may be able to donate from their place of employment. The auction will be nationally accessible to everyone. If you can help or donate something or, know of someone that can, please email Aurora Richards at aurora@tcapp.org or Sue Pinkham at sue@tcapp.org. We need everyone's help to continue raising funds for these great think tanks (planning on expanding it to a family conference as well), research, and resources for children, teens and young adults afflicted by pediatric pain conditions.
