Plan a Fundraising Event
Do you have a hobby or special interest? Art auctions, walk-a-thons, bake sales, pet parades, golf tournaments, craft fairs–regardless of size or activity, if you are interested in doing it, it can be turned into a successful and truly enjoyable fundraising event! You don’t have to manage on your own and you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. We are here to help you and, if you wish, connect you with others in your community who may want to participate. Just remember, there are as many types of fundraising events as there are individual interests, talents and passions. We are happy to help you get those imaginative juices flowing!
Here are some fundraising ideas:
The following restaurants allow you to host fundraising nights for your favorite 501 (c) 3 charity – TCAPP!
Applebees, Arby’s, Baja Fresh, bd’s Mongolian Grill, Boston Market, Brusters Ice Cream, Buffalo Wild Wings, California Pizza Kitchen, Cheeseburger Cheeburger Cheeburger, Chevys Fresh Mex, Chili’s, Chipotle, Chuck E Cheese, Jamba Juice, Jersey Mike’s Subs, McDonalds, Outback Steak House, Panda Express, Panera Bread, Papa Murphy’s, Pizzeria Uno, Rubio’s, Sonic Drive-In, Subway
All you have to do is contact your local manager and ask if you can do a fundraising night for TCAPP, fill out some very brief paperwork, advertise, advertise, advertise and then eat!
An easy event that just takes time. Ask your family, friends, neighbors, etc. to donate everything and anything they have in their homes to you so you can do a yard/tag sale in your own yard. Collect, clean, price and sort items. Advertise in the local paper, on Craigslist (free), post flyers in local shops, restaurants, laundromats, libraries, etc. Then sell, sell, sell.
Get items to auction off – gift cards, sports tickets, theatre tickets, jewelry, toys, etc. Try to get a hall to donate their space, get food donated, play some music while people bid on items. Have fun and raise money for TCAPP!
Collect books from family, friends, etc and have a book sale. If you don’t have enough for a sale try to partner with another organiztion.
Get an awesome “prize” like the dollhouse and raffle it off. Sell tickets at your local grocery store on a Sat. morning, sell tickets online to family and friends, etc.
Bring your used clothing, toys, sporting goods, etc. to your local consignment stores and donate the money to TCAPP.
Do you know a comedian who will perform a show for TCAPP and donate the proceeds to TCAPP?

Hold a Family and Friends Event
Host a TCAPP Potluck.
Everyone brings a potluck and donates whatever money they would have spent on dinner out to TCAPP.
If you host a birthday party, donations could be requested instead of gifts.
TCAPP can set up a fundraising page or registration page to assist you in planning.
Ask kids to help kids.
Young people can make a difference. Encourage them to get involved through fundraising events like car washes, bake sales, soccer tournaments, wristband sales, and crafts fairs.
Help TCAPP Keep Things Up-To-Date
Our goal for our website is to provide as much information as possible to help navigate the world of chronic pain. If you feel like there is something you can add, recommendations to be given or resources available, please provide this information on our form.
If you feel that there is a pertinent research project TCAPP should invest in, please contact us.
Special Occasion Favors
In lieu of traditional gifts for weddings, birthdays, bar or bat mitzvahs, retirement or anniversary celebrations or holidays, thank your friends and family for sharing your special occasion with a gift that will make a difference in the fight against pediatric pain syndromes.
Spread the Word
You can help us raise awareness by letting others know about the TCAPP’s work.
For more information on any of these opportunities, please contact us via our Connect On-line Form.
